Three Carter County teams will get a dress rehearsal on Friday night.
Cloudland, Hampton and Unaka will all participate in the annual Carter County Jamboree on Friday. The event will be held at Unaka.
Happy Valley and Elizabethton will not be participating in jamborees on Friday.
At Unaka, the three teams will square off in skill competitions at 6 p.m. Following the competitions, each team will play two quarters of game action – a quarter against each of the other attending teams.
Cloudland, Hampton and Unaka will open the season on August 19, while the Cyclones and Warriors will kick off 2016 on August 26.
