Points were hard to come by for both squads early on.

Hunter Shell opened the scoring for Cloudland in the second quarter as CHS worked to trim into the lead. After the teams traded shots to end the half, the ‘Landers trailed 18-13 at the half.
North Greene opened the second half quickly.
The Huskies quickly pushed the lead to double-digits before Conner BIrchfield countered with a 5-0 run of his own. The ‘Landers trimmed into the lead again as Birchfield scored four points to end the half to pull within three points going to the final eight minutes.

The ‘Landers, however, weren’t done yet with 3-pointers from Bentley Gilbert and Birchfield to pull back within five. However, that was as close as CHS could get as NG took care of business at the free-throw line.
Birchfield finished with 22 points to lead the ‘Landers. Blair scored seven points, while Gilbert had five points.
