It was a move down week for both Cloudland and Hampton in this week’s installment of the Associated Press polls.

The Highlanders fell from No. 2 to No. 3 in Class A. Cloudland, who defeated Tri-Cities Christian on Friday night in a thriller, saw Nashville Christian School slide past them for the second spot. Union City continued to hold down the first place spot with 15 first place votes, while Cloudland nabbed the other two.

In Class AA, Hampton also dropped a spot to No. 8. The Bulldogs are coming off a strong win at Johnson County, and recorded a first place vote. TCA recorded 16 of 17 first place votes to hold down the top spot, while Adamsville and Peabody were slotted No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Elizabethton received votes in Class 4A.
