Cloudland kept on rolling Friday night.
The ‘Landers ran to a 46-8 victory over North Greene in Region 1-A action on Friday night in Baileyton.
With the win, Cloudland improved to 2-0 in region action and 3-3 overall.
Once Cloudland got going, it was all blue and gold.
Kyle Birchfield opened the scoring with a short touchdown with 3:11 remaining in the first to give CHS an 8-0 lead.
After NG tied things up at 8-8, Birchfield scored his second touchdown of the night to push the CHS lead to 16-8 four minutes into the second quarter.
Birchfield capped the first-half scoring with a six-yard touchdown as CHS took a 24-8 lead into the half.
The third quarter was much the same as Cloudland continued to dominate with the ground game.
The Blue and Gold scored midway through the third quarter as Birchfield scored from five yards out.
Cloudland left no doubt as Birchfield added a short touchdown to open the fourth quarter, and Walker Gouge capped the scoring with a touchdown in the final quarter.
Birchfield had 242 yards on the ground for Cloudland, while Grayson Cole had 84 rushing yards.
Bryce Birchfield had 64 passing yards. Jacob Stinnett had nine tackles and an interception to lead the CHS defense.
