The first Climate Controllers Player of the Week award for 2023 is heading to Roan Mountain.
Cloudland’s Kyle Birchfield has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 1 after his performance in the thrilling 14-12 win over Happy Valley.
The senior running back led the way offensively for the Blue and Gold as he tallied 154 yards on 30 carries. He scored a touchdown and added the crucial two-point conversion.
Birchfield and company are slated to open the home slate of the 2023 schedule on Friday night as they welcome West Greene to Orr Field.
