Carter County will be well-represented by two players during the annual Tennessee East-West All-Star Classic event.
Cloudland’s Eli Preswood and Elizabethton’s Parker Hughes have been selected as two of the state’s top senior football players to compete in the event.
The event, which is organized by the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association (T.A.C.A), will be a combine this season instead of the annual East-West All-Star Football Classic due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the event on Wednesday, Dec. 9, the duo along with the other participants will be tested and timed in nearly a dozen different categories with results being posted online.
Preswood has been a dominant force on the Cloudland offensive line and defense line this season while also being a key senior leader.
Hughes is a Mr. Football Semifinalist for Class 4A and has been a key part of Elizabethton’s 26-game winning streak.
