An all-around performance grabbed the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 2.

Cloudland’s Caleb Sluder has been named as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the ‘Landers win over Unaka last week.

In the game, Sluder had 13 carries for 132 yards for two touchdowns – including a 58-yarder. The senior also added two two-point conversions.

Defensively, Sluder was a force as he nabbed an interception and a number of tackles.

Sluder joins Elizabethton’s Bryson Rollins as 2021 Climate Controllers Player of the Week selections.

Cloudland was slated to take on Rockwood Friday night, but that game was canceled due to COVID issues inside the Rockwood program.

Sluder and company are now set to return to action on Sept. 10, against Hampton.
