Cloudland and Elizabethton continue to be ranked inside the Tennessee AP Prep Football poll after Week 10 action.
The Cyclones jumped a spot to No. 5 in Class 4A after dispatching Sullivan South on Friday night. Elizabethton, who has a 7-2 record on the season, tallied 85 points in the poll – just six points behind No. 4 Haywood County.
Greeneville was the unanimous No. 1 selection with Anderson county and White House rounding out the top three.
In Class 1A, the ‘Landers remained in the No. 9 spot after dropping a hard-fought game to Johnson County. Cloudland, who is 7-2 on the year, was 19 points behind No. 8 Lake County.
South Pittsburg was the unanimous No. 1 while the top nine teams remained the same as last week.
To close out the regular season, Cloudland is set to host Copper Basin while Elizabethton will travel to Sullivan Central.
Other local teams ranked include Sullivan North (No. 9 in Class 2A), Johnson County (No. 3 in Class 3A), and Daniel Boone (No. 7 in Class 5A).
