After a sluggish start, Elizabethton got going and never looked back.

The Cyclones rolled to a 51-19 road victory over Union County on Friday night. The win improved Elizabethton to 7-0 on the season and sets the stage for a monster showdown with Greeneville next Friday night inside Citizens Bank Stadium.

Against Union County, EHS found themselves in an early hole.

The Patriots scored on a short touchdown to take a 7-0 lead into the second quarter. EHS, however, wasn’t going to be denied as Parker Hughes caught a pair of touchdowns from Bryson Rollins and the sophomore Rollins added a touchdown on the ground to give EHS a 21-7 advantage at the half.

The Cyclones continued to dominate as Zach Hartley scored off a Rollins pass in the opening minutes of the third quarter.

After the Patriots closed the game to 15 points, Rollins added a score to answer. Nate Stephens scored a pair of touchdowns late to account for the final scoring.
