The District 1-A Softball Tournament bracket is set.
The 2018 tournament is set to begin on Saturday, May 4 and will be held at Unaka High School. The top two teams will advance to the Region 1-A tournament.
The first round of games features two elimination games on Saturday with the winner’s moving on to the double elimination portion of the tournament.
In the opening game at noon, No. 5 Sullivan North will take on No. 4 University High. No. 3 Cloudland will take on No. 6 Hampton at 2 p.m.
Action picks back up on Monday as the winner of the North-UH game will take on No. 1 Unaka at 5 p.m., and the Cloudland-Hampton winner taking on No. 2 North Greene at 7 p.m.
The losers’ bracket semifinal and winner’s bracket final are set for Tuesday with first pitches at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
On Wednesday, the loser’s bracket final is set for 5 p.m., with the winner advancing to Thursday’s Championship series and the Region 1-A tournament.
Thursday’s action is set to begin at 5 p.m., with the if-necessary game set for 7 p.m.

Monday, May 7
5 p.m. – North/UH vs. No. 1 Unaka
7 p.m. – Cloudland/Hampton vs. No. 2 North Greene

5 p.m. – Loser’s Bracket Semifinal
7 p.m. – Winner’s Bracket Final
Wednesday, May 9
5 p.m. – Loser’s Bracket Final
Thursday, May 10
5 p.m. – Championship Game
7 p.m. – If Necessary
