Mother Nature won out on Friday night at Cherokee.
Elizabethton’s game at Cherokee was postponed until Sunday, Sept. 10, after lightning and heavy rain delayed the start and led to the eventual postponement.
Kickoff on Sunday is set for 3p at Cherokee.
The Elizabethton-Cherokee game was one of several games in the area affected by the weather.
The Cyclones look to improve to 4-0 when the teams are able to play, while Cherokee is still looking for their first win of the season.
