Elizabethton climbed a spot in this week’s Tennessee Prep Football AP poll.
The Cyclones rose from No. 4 to No. 3 in this week’s Class 4A poll. Elizabethton, who outlasted Daniel Boone last week, tallied 128 points in the poll and also received a first-place vote.
Greeneville claimed the top spot in 4A with 176 points, while Haywood County held down the No. 2 spot. Anderson County and Nolensville rounded out the top five.
Elizabethton is set to take on Grainger County on Friday at Citizens Bank Stadium.
