Elizabethton held steady, while Cloudland and Hampton continued to receive votes in this week’s edition of the Tennessee AP Prep Football poll after Week 5 action.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton was ranked No. 3 in the poll. EHS tallied 118 points and a first-place vote and was just seven points behind No. 2 Upperman. Pearl-Cohn held steady in the top spot.
Hardin County and Greeneville were No. 4 and No. 5.
In Class 2A, Hampton continued to receive votes and was just 13 points behind a tie in No. 9 with Lewis County and Smith County.
In Class A, Cloudland also continued to receive votes and came in three points behind No. 10 Collinwood and six points behind No. 9 Clay County.
