Jonathan Morton claimed the A-AA 195 weight class state championship at the TSSAA State Championships in Franklin.
The sophomore Morton capped a 41-6 season with a win over Noah Hill of Forest in the Championship match by a fall.
Hunter Morrell nabbed second place in the 113 weight class as he ended his junior season with a 38-8 mark. Tyesha Thomas claimed 2nd place in the Girls 119 weight class to end her sophomore season with a 19-1 record.
Chris Taylor defeated Kwon Park of Eagleville in the third-place match in the 182 weight class as he ended the season with a 47-11 mark. Andrew Fontanez and Joseph Ketchter won the fifth-place matches in the 132 and 285 weight class, respectively.
