The Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 6 went to a standout performance.
Elizabethton’s Rhett Slagle has been selected as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the Cyclone win over Sullivan East.
The sophomore signal caller went 14-of-17 passing for 241 yards and four touchdowns in the game. It was career high for yards and touchdowns in a game for Slagle – who finished with a quarterback rating of 137.9.
Slagle joins Kyle Birchfield (Cloudland), Dom Burleson (Hampton), Dylan Trivett (Elizabethton), AJ Greenless (Unaka), and Aidan Paul (Happy Valley) as Climate Controllers Player of the Week selections so far this season.
