The reigning Southern Conference champions will play in front of a raucous William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium five times throughout the campaign, beginning with the stadium’s first-ever Thursday night football game when the Bucs host Mars Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 1. Two weeks later, ETSU welcomes Furman into town for the first Southern Conference home game in the George Quarles era. The Bucs and Paladins will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17.
The next home game will feature the coveted Rail Rivalry against in-state rival Chattanooga. ETSU aims to exact revenge against the Mocs with its final 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Greene Stadium in a game that will also serve as family weekend. The fourth home outing of the season will be Homecoming Weekend against the Samford Bulldogs. Kickoff between the Bucs and Bulldogs will be 3:30 p.m.
The final home game of the 2022 regular season for the defending league champions will be a 1 p.m. kickoff against Western Carolina in the Blue Ridge Border Battle.
