Elizabethton 66, King’s Academy 65
Elizabethton won a thriller in the Pizza Plus Thanksgiving Classic at Grainger.
After trailing 20-14 after a quarter of play, EHS was able to cut into the lead as TKA held a 29-26 lead after the third.
The Cyclones outscored TKA 19-11 in the third and then held on in the back-and-forth fourth quarter to take a win.
Andrew Barnett had 22 points for Elizabethton.
Nathan Bailey added 14 points, while Zach Wallin scored 10 points.
Tennessee High 48, Hampton 47
The Bulldogs saw a rally come up short in a thriller.
Hampton trailed 16-8 after a quarter of play, and the Vikings maintained a 36-24 halftime advantage. The Bulldogs, however, battled back to cut the lead to four points after three complete quarters.
HHS took the lead early in the fourth. However, they were unable to convert a last-second shot.
Bryce Fagan and Tuff Robinson had 15 points apiece for Hampton, while Jayden Nave added eight points. Chase Davenport scored five points.
KACHEA 50, Happy Valley 31
The Warriors were unable to keep pace on Friday.
HV led 11-10 after the first quarter. However, KACHEA was able to take control and pull away.
Artee Bahn had eight points to lead HV. Ron Paul Parker scored seven points.

Tennessee High 43, Unaka 34
The Lady Rangers were unable to overcome a sluggish fourth quarter.
It was a back-and-forth battle in the opening half as Unaka trailed 22-19 after a quarter of play and 22-19 at the half.
The Lady Rangers battled back and took a 30-29 lead into the final quarter.
Tennessee High, however, outscored Unaka 13-1 in the final eight minutes to take the win despite a hard-fought Unaka effort.
Michelle Sheilds led Unaka with 14 points, while Katlyn Dugger had five points. Brooklyn Campbell scored four points.
The King’s Academy 71, Elizabethton 58
The Lady Cyclones came up short on Friday afternoon.
Peyton McGee scored 16 points for Elizabethton. Adrian Heading scored 14 points, while Jamira Smalls added 10 points.
Rylee May scored nine points.
