Lyndie Ramsey hit a career milestone, on Friday night, but the Lady Rangers were unable to celebrate with a win.
Ramsey surpassed the 2000-point mark for her career as she tallied 27 points in the game.
It was a tight battle in the first half, but Cosby outscored UHS 30-13 in the third quarter to take control.
Unaka kept battling but was unable to rally back.
Dugger added eight points for the Lady Rangers.
Shylee Shelton led Cosby with 34 points.
Alcoa 65, Elizabethton 43 (girls)
Elizabethton was unable to rally from an early deficit on Thursday afternoon at Alcoa.
The Lady Tornadoes jumped out to a 16-5 lead. EHS kept battling, but was unable to get shots to fall as Alcoa took a 36-9 lead at the half.
The Lady Cyclones continued to battle, but was unable to rally in the second half.
Lina Lyon had 15 points to pace EHS, while Olivia Holly added nine points. Katie Lee had six points.
