The Cyclones broke open a 4-4 game in the fourth with a four-run inning as Elizabethton pulled away to take a 9-4 victory over Science Hill.
JD Hooks had two RBI to lead the way, while Jack Blevins was 2-for-4 at the plate. Rhett Slagle and Justin Whitehead recorded a hit and an RBI apiece, while Ryan Kasting, Elijah Ambrose, and Bo Armstrong each had a hit.
In three innings of work, Kasting struck out two batters and allowed just two earned runs on three hits. Cole Krawczyk struck out two batters in an inning of work.

The Rangers fell in a doubleheader on Friday evening.
In the first game, Bailey Cannon went 2-for-2, including a double, while Robert Humphrey and TJ Parenteau each added a hit.
The second game saw Cannon once again go 2-for-2. Brandon Buckles, Conner Vines, and Brycen Eggers each added a hit.

The Lady Cyclones opened district play with a win over Tennessee High on Friday.
EHS scored single runs in the first, third, fourth, and fifth to outlast the Lady Vikings.
Sadie Williams went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Kaitlyn Gryder was 2-for-3 with a RBI. Adrian Heading added a hit and an RBI.
Lacey Gobble and Brook Sparks added a hit.
West Greene 14, Happy Valley 4
The Lady Warriors were unable to rally on Friday evening.
Tierra Collins had two RBIs and a hit for HV, while Chloe Cochran and Destanee Irick added a hit. Makenzie Skeans and Trinity Bowers each added an RBI.
