Hampton offense named Unit of Week

After an impressive effort to keep the Bulldogs undefeated, the Hampton offense has been named the Applebee’s of Elizabethton Player of the Week for Week 6.

The Bulldogs rolled to over 550 total offensive yards in a 56-30 victory over Cloudland. Senior quarterback Coby Jones tallied 343 total offensive yards with there touchdowns to pace the Hampton offense, while Jerry Lunsford had five total touchdowns with 222 total yards.

Adam McClain had 120 yards rushing and two touchdowns for Hampton. All of the success was paved by the Bulldog offensive line that won the battle in the trenches.

Not to be outdone, JJ Chambers and Hunter Davenport each recorded big catches that moved Hampton into Cloudland territory.

Hampton is set to travel to Happy Valley on Friday night.
