Hampton football is set to kickoff the 2026 season ranked in the TSWA Prep Football poll.

The Bulldogs were ranked No. 5 in Class A in the opening week of the poll. In Class 2A, Happy Valley received votes, but came in just outside the top 10.

Hampton tallied 113 points – just nine points behind No. 4 Richland.

South Pittsburg was the unanimous No. 1 with 210 points and all 21 first-place votes. McKenzie came in at No. 2 with Coalfield checking in at No. 3.

In Class 2A, the Warriors received 20 points – just 22 points behind No. 10 Bledsoe County.

Huntingdon was the unanimous No. 1 with East Nashville and Marion County holding down the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively.
