Hampton and Unaka had vastly different results on Friday night. The Bulldogs remained perfect in Region 1 play with a 47-0 victory over Cosby, while the Rangers were unable to contain the South Greene offense as they fell 47-6.

Hampton 47, Cosby 0
Hampton struck early and often in the first half and never looked back as they rolled to the victory. Jerry Lunsford scored three touchdowns in the first quarter alone to give the Bulldogs a 19-0 lead heading into the second quarter.
The Bulldogs had no problem and scored almost at will in the second as they put up 28 points in the frame to cap off the scoring.
Coby Jones went 6-of-9 passing for 168 yards, while Lunsford finished with 150 yards on 11 carries.
Hampton travels to Hancock County next week.

South Greene 47, Unaka 6
The Rangers put the first points on the board, but South Greene had the answer and more.
Micah Hunt broke free for an 80-yard score on the first offensive play of the game for the score. However, Justin Casteel hit five touchdown passes in the first half to propel the Rebels to the victory.
The Rangers will host Tri-Cities Christian next week.
