Hampton took a pair of county rivalry games on Thursday night.
The Bulldogs edged Happy Valley 49-44 while the Lady Bulldogs rolled to a 63-39 victory over the Lady Warriors.
In the boys’ game, Wyatt Lyons led the Bulldogs in a hotly contested game from the opening tip.
Lyons scored 17 points to lead all scorers, while Jose Velsaquez had 13 points. Dru Owens tallied 11 points for Hampton.
For Happy Valley, Austin Hicks and Chris Hicks had 10 points apiece. Bryce Carter added nine points for the Warrior cause.
In the girls’ game, the Lady Bulldogs pulled away and never looked back.
Alexus Grubbs and Shy Tuelle had 17 points apiece for the Lady Bulldogs.
Shalyn Whitson added 11 points for the Lady Warriors.
