The accolades keep coming for Hampton’s Cadon Buckles.
The senior was announced as a member of the Tennessee Sportswriters Association Class A All-State team.
Buckles averaged 24 points per game during the season to help lead the Bulldogs to the Class A State Title.
He was named the Class A State Tournament MVP, and was a Class A Mr. Basketball finalist. Buckles was also named the District 1-A Player of the Year.
Buckles was the lone county representative on the boys’ side, while classmate Madi McClain was selected on the girls’ side on Tuesday along with Unaka’s Lyndie Ramsey, Elizabethton’s Renna Lane and Elizabethton’s Lina Lyon.
