Hampton’s Lunsford Selected As Climate Controllers Player Of The Week

A big performance in a big game earned the Climate Controllers Player of the Week.

Hampton’s Levi Lunsford has been selected as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance against Daniel Boone.

The senior running back finished with three touchdowns against the Class 5A Trailblazers. Lunsford had 44 carries for 205 yards.

It is the second time this season that Lunsford has been selected as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week.

Other nominees this season include Dominique Burleson (Hampton), Reagan Ensor (HV), Joseph Sowards (HV), Landon Ramsey (Unaka), Gage McKinney (Cloudland), and Nate Stephens (Elizabethton).

Lunsford and company are set to open the TSSAA playoffs on Friday.
