It was a busy Monday at the Johnson City Country Club.
Happy Valley hosted the inaugural 1913 Invitational in Johnson City to kick off the season.
The Warriors and Lady Warriors were represented by individuals competing, while Elizabethton saw the Lady Cyclones compete in the event.
On the boys’ side, Colton Pemberton fired a 79 to lead the individual players for HV, while Cayden Anderson had a strong showing of 110 for the Lady Warriors.
Ashlyn Guy led the Lady Cyclones with a 99, while Maely Stout carded an 87. Sophia McKeehan fired a 109 for the Orange and Black.
Phoebe Holly and Madison Holly also had strong rounds for EHS.
Rockvale won the tournament on the boys’ side by nine strokes, while Dobyns-Bennett won on the girls side with a 13-point advantage over Providence Christian Academy.
