Happy Valley took care of business on Friday night.
The Warriors methodically pulled away to take a 35-0 victory over Unaka in nonconference county play on Friday night on Stoney Creek.
HV opened the scoring with a Joseph Sowards 12-yard touchdown midway through the first to take a 6-0 lead.
Unaka moved the ball into HV territory but was unable to come away with points.
Happy Valley pushed the lead to 14-0 after a quarter of play after a short Sowards touchdown run.
The Warrior defense nabbed an interception to set up a 14-yard touchdown run by Aidan Paul, Sowards added a late touchdown to send HV into the locker room at the half-up 28-0.
Unaka kept battling but was unable to get onto the scoreboard in the second half.
Jamie Esterline capped the scoring for HV with a 14-yard touchdown run.
Sowards finished the night with 12 carries for 100 yards, while Paul had 67 yards on six carries. Esterline ended the game with 53 yards rushing.
Connor McKinney was 12-of-20 for 102 yards for Unaka.
The Rangers were held to -27 yards rushing in the game.
