There were quite a few impressive performances in Week 3. However, one stood out above them all.

For his performance in Unaka’s first win of the season, Micah Hunt has been named the Climate Controllers’ Player of the Week. Hunt tallied all five of the Rangers’ touchdowns in the game to lead the Rangers.

The running back was impressive from the opening kickoff as he carried the ball five straight times to march Unaka down the field. He had a couple of long touchdown runs called back due to penalties, but that didn’t faze Hunt or the Unaka offense.

Hunt finished the game with five total touchdowns, four rushing and a receiving, with 217 yards on 14 carries. He also added five catches for 56 yards.

He joins Hampton duo Jerry Lunsford and Colby Jones as honorees for the 2015 Player of the Week Award.
