This week’s Climate Controllers Player of the Week took care of business on both sides of the ball.
Happy Valley’s Jamie Esterline has been selected as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 10 edging out a number of great performances.
Esterline opened the win against Unaka with a 65-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage, and then picked off a Happy Valley pass and returned it for a touchdown on Unaka’s first play from scrimmage.
The senior also added a 28-yard touchdown catch later in the first half.
For the game, Esterline finished with 118 combined receiving and rushing yards.
Esterline joins teammate Gabe McDougald along with Cloudland’s Grayson Cole, Elizabethton’s Rhett Slagle, Unaka’s Brynin Repass, Hampton’s Dom Burleson, and Hampton’s Peyton Townsend as Climate Controllers Player of the Week selections this season.
Esterline and company are set to take on West Greene on Thursday night.
