Hampton was unable to pull off an upset on Friday night.
The Lady Bulldogs saw their season come to a close with a 70-29 loss to Cosby in the Region 1-A quarterfinals.
Hampton went toe-to-toe with the top seed from District 2-A in the opening stages.
Macy Henry and Bre Davis had four points apiece in the first quarter as the Lady Bulldogs trailed 9-8 after a quarter of play.
Hampton was able to take a lead early in the second before Cosby ended the half on a 31-5 run to take a 44-17 lead at the break.
The Lady Bulldogs continued to battle in the second half, but they were unable to keep pace with the torrid offensive attack of the Lady Eagles.
Madi McClain led Hampton with 11 points, while Henry had seven points. Linsey Jenkins and Davis had four points apiece.
Destini Milhorn rounded out the Hampton scoring with three points.
