A trio of Lady Cyclones paved the way for a major win.
Elizabethton saw three players tally two RBIs apiece to lead EHS to a 6-3 over Happy Valley on Thursday evening.
EHS scored the game’s first runs in the top of the third with an Abbi McKinney double that plated a run. Maci West continued her hot streak as she plated a pair of runs to extend the lead to 3-0. After Allison Riddle added a run in the fifth, Kaitlyn Roberts and Emily Whitaker – who hit a home run – closed the gap to 4-3.
Elizabethton, however, added a run in the sixth with a Riddle hit and another run off a McKinney home run in the away side of the seventh.
Riddle, West and McKinney each had two RBIs.
Kellie Cunningham picked up the win in the circle with six strikeouts.
