Elizabethton celebrated Senior Day in a big way.
The Lady Cyclones took a 6-0 Three Rivers Conference victory over Sullivan East on Monday afternoon.
On the evening that was honoring the four Elizabethton seniors in Macie Herrmann, Maci West, Lauren Brickey and Kellie Cunningham, the Lady Cyclones made sure it was a happy celebration.
After the first two evenings were scoreless, Elizabethton got things cranking in the bottom of the third.
Maggie Johnson plated the first run off a West walk and then Herrmann and Brickey scored off a Haley Fair single. West crossed home plate to give EHS a 4-0 lead off a Kira Dillard single. The top of the fourth saw Elizabethton retired the side in order.
Bailey Creasy added a run in the bottom of the fifth off an East error and capped the scoring in the bottom of the sixth off a Herrmann sacrifice.
Johnson was 2-for-3, while Fair had two RBI for EHS.
In the pitching circle, Brickey pitched a gem as she allowed just four hits in a complete game effort.
