The Lady Rangers fell 10-0 to the Lady Huskies in the District 1-A Championship game on Stoney Creek. Unaka is set to open the Region 1-A tournament on Monday with a trip to Cosby.

North Greene took control in the bottom of the third with nine runs.

Unaka kept battling as Grace Stout reached base with a single in the top of the fifth, but a strikeout and groundout ended the inning.

Stout and Taylor had a hit apiece for UHS. The 10 North Greene runs were all unearned.

Abby Weems went 4-for-4 at the plate for NG.
