MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. – Two-time state cross-country qualifier Wyatt Fedorka has signed with the Milligan College men’s cross-country and track & field teams for the 2015-16 season.

“Wyatt is going to be a fantastic fit for our institution and our programs,” commented Head Coach Chris Layne. “He’s an extremely athletic young man who comes from an athletic family. I look forward to the opportunity to coach him and watch his development over the next four years.”

Fedorka attended Lake Norman High School where he ran four years of varsity cross-country and played three years of varsity soccer. Fedorka earned All-Conference recognition three years straight in cross-country, qualifying for state competition in 2012 and 2014. His personal best time in the 5k race is 16:42, a time he set in the 2014 season.

The Mooresville, North Carolina, native is the son of Chuck and Kristine Fedorka and will seek a business degree in his time at Milligan.

“It has always been a goal of mine to run in college, and I am excited to run both cross-country and track for Coach Layne at Milligan,” noted Fedorka. “To have the opportunity to attend Milligan and be a part of such a successful program is a dream come true.”
