The Bulldogs slowly pulled away to take a district win on Monday.
Colby Clark went 3-for-4 with three RBI to pace Hampton. Jayden Kuhn went 2-for-3, while Memphis Nave and Kasey Gilbert each recorded two RBI.
Brock Shelby added two hits for Hampton.
Robert Humphrey, Brandon Buckles, and Jacob Carrier each had a hit for Unaka.
Elizabethton 11, Sullivan East 1
The Cyclones plated runs in each of the six innings to roll to a win over East on Monday.
Seth Holly went 3-for-4 with three RBI to lead the way for EHS, while Elijah Ambross was 3-for-4 with two RBI. Ryan Kasting added three RBI and two hits.
Carter Reece and JD Hooks each had two hits.
North Greene 15, Cloudland 0
North Greene 15, Cloudland 0
The ‘Landers dropped a pair of district games on the road Monday.
In the first game, the ‘Landers continued to battle back after falling behind 4-0 in the first. North Greene, however, secured the win with a big third inning.
In the second game, Cloudland was unable to overcome a slow start.
Walker Gouge and Austin Simerly each had a hit for the ‘Landers.
Isaac Gaby led North Greene as he went 3-for-3 with three RBI.
Softball
Unaka 14, Sullivan East 5
The Lady Rangers plated six runs in the fifth and never looked back to take a nonconference win on Monday.
Katlyn Dugger was 3-for-3 with three RBI. Kacie Bare, Mikena Blackwell, and Kimberly Profitt each had two hits and two RBI.
Brooklyn Campbell, Devalynn Harter, and Kelsey Pasquale each had two hits.
Chuckey-Doak 12, Hampton 7
The Lady Bulldogs fell in extra innings to a nonconference foe.
Hampton plated four runs in the sixth to tie the game at 6-6. Neither team was able to drive a run across in the seventh.
In the eighth, CD jumped out with six runs in the home side of the frame. HHS continued to battle, but was unable to rally past the Lady Knights.
Lauren Smith was 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Emma Birchfield added two hits and two RBI. Kiera McKinney and Mallory Lamb each added two hits.
