The Lady ‘Landers swept a doubleheader on Monday afternoon.
In game one, Cloudland plated a run in the first and three more in the second, third, and fourth innings to secure the run-rule win.
Willow Bennett was 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and four RBI. Khloe Johnson and Regan Blair each had two RBI and a hit, while Eowyn McCoury and Savannah McCoury had two hits apiece. Peyton Preswood and Jayla Harper each added a hit.
In the pitching circle, Reagan Turbyfull struck out seven batters and allowed no runs on two hits.
The second game saw Cloudland take a 4-0 lead in the first as CHS rolled to the win.
S. McCoury, Bennett, and Turbyfill each had a hit and an RBI, while Johnson added an RBI. E. McCoury and Preswood each had a hit.
S. McCoury struck out nine batters and allowed no earned runs on three hits.
Elizabethton 17, Johnson County 2
The Lady Cyclones plated 11 runs in the first inning and never looked back on Monday evening.
Adrian Heading was 4-for-4 with two RBI, while Sadie Williams was 2-for-3 with four RBI. Lyla Hardin tallied two hits and three RBI. Gracie Shepard added three RBI and a hit.
Kaitlyn Gyder had two hits and an RBI.
Lacey Gobble struck out five batters and allowed just one hit in two innings of work.

Jackson Buckles went the distance on the round as he allowed just one earned run on three hits in seven innings of work. Buckles struck out six batters.
At the plate, Bo Armstrong was 2-for-3 with an RBI, while JD Hooks had a triple and an RBI. Justin Whitehead and Seth Holly each had a hit. Rhett Slagle added an RBI.

The Warriors came up short on Monday evening.
