Preseason prep is in the books for the Elizabethton football team.
The Cyclones picked up a 21-7 jamboree win over CAK on Thursday night to put a bow on fall camp.
Elizabethton saw Cade Russell score on a five-yard run on the opening possession, and Gib Maupins recorded two touchdowns in the second quarter – one on a six-yard run and another on a 14-yard pass to Eli Blevins.
Elizabethton is set to open the 2022 season on Friday, August 19, at home against Science Hill.
