JC Campbell Stadium was a busy place on Friday night.
Hampton was joined by county foe Unaka as the Bulldogs hosted the annual Carter County/Greene County Jamboree on Friday. The Bulldogs and Rangers were joined by Chuckey-Doak, North Greene, South Greene, and West Greene.
In the first quarter, Unaka and West Greene squared off in a 15-minute quarter, and the frame ended scoreless as the teams traded possessions.
South Greene outscored North Greene 21-0 in the second quarter.
The Bulldogs saw Geno Carrico, Dominique Burleson, Dylan Trivette, and Elijah McKinney record touchdowns as Hampton rolled to a 28-7 win.
Hampton will open the 2023 season hosting Pigeon Forge on August 18, while Unaka will travel to Chuckey-Doak to kick off the year.
