Hampton jumped out early and took a county win on Monday evening.
The Bulldogs picked up a 15-4 win over Cloudland at Scotty Bunton Field.
Hampton came out of the gate quickly as the Bulldogs plated 10 runs in the top of the first. Cloudland countered with three of their own to close the deficit.
Hampton added a single run in the second and two more in the third to push the lead back out.
Cloudland kept fighting but was unable to rally past the Bulldogs.
Elisha Henson led Hampton as he went 3-for-3 with three runs scored. Jaden Kuhn and Gabe Lyons added two RBI and a hit apiece while Jamie Turbyfill added a hit and a RBI. Chase Davenport tallied a hit.
Brayden Whitaker had two hits and two RBI for Cloudland. Walker Gouge added a hit, while Jacob Stinnett, Tristan Lowery, and Gouge each had a run scored.
Prior to the game, Cloudland honored seniors Thomas Job, Camden Peppers, and Stinnett.
