Friday night served as a dress rehearsal for three county teams.
Cloudland, Hampton, and Unaka participated in the Carter County/Greene County and Johnson County jamboree at Chuckey-Doak on Friday night.
The Carter County trio were joined by Johnson County, North Greene, West Greene, South Greene, and the host Black Knights in the event.
Cloudland used a 61-yard pass from Camden Peppers to Gage McKinney to take a 7-0 quarter victory over South Greene, while Chance Point scored two touchdowns to lift the Bulldogs to a 14-0 quarter over Chuckey-Doak.
Point also won the longest pass competition.
Unaka moved the ball in their quarter against West Greene but was unable to find the endzone as the quarter ended scoreless.
Johnson County scored in the closing minutes to take a 7-0 win over North Greene.
The 2022 regular season kicks off next Friday night.
