It was a split decision in Hampton on Tuesday night.
Unaka took advantage of an early lead to take an 8-4 victory over the Bulldogs in the first game while Hampton pulled away to take an 11-1 victory in the nightcap.
In the first game, the Rangers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and pushed the advantage to 5-0 after two and a half innings.
Hampton got on the board in the home side of the third, but Unaka countered with a single run in the fourth.
The Bulldogs trimmed the lead to two runs with two in the bottom of the fifth, but Unaka added two insurance runs in the top of the seventh to secure the win.
Logan Lewis and Brayden Powell were both 3-for-4 to pace the Rangers at the plate. Jaycob Niddifer and Rylan Crabtree had two RBI apiece.
On the mound, Lewis picked up the win as he allowed just four earned runs on nine hits.
Hampton saw Elisha Henson record two RBI, while seven Bulldogs recorded a hit in the game.
Johnny Greenwell struck out six batters in three innings of work and allowed just four earned runs on six hits.
In the second game, both teams plated single runs in the first inning as the game went to the second tied at 1-1.
Hampton, however, took control with four runs in the third and three more in the fourth and fifth to secure the win.
Jaden Kuhn and Noah Nichols had two hits and two RBI apiece for Hampton, while Brody Hicks had two RBI.
Josh Whitson picked up the win as struck out seven batters with just one unearned run on three hits.
Landon Ramsey was 2-for-3 for the Rangers, while Crabtree had one hit.
Niddifer added a RBI.
Ramsey struck out eight batters on the mound and allowed just four earned runs on five hits.
