Unaka battled back against Cloudland on Monday.
The Rangers battled back from a 5-1 deficit to take a 19-9 victory over the ‘Landers on Stoney Creek.
Cloudland jumped out to a 5-1 lead after two complete innings, but the Rangers plated eight runs in the third to take the lead. CHS battled back to trim the lead to one, but eight Unaka runs in the fifth secured the win for UHS.
Robert Humphrey went 3-for-4 with five RBI to lead Unaka, while Brandon Buckley and Connor Vines had three RBI and a hit apiece. Cameron Prince finished with two RBI.
Walker Gouge went 2-for-3 with two RBI for CHS, while Cam Peppers had a homerun with two RBI. Tristan Lowery and Colin Davis each added an RBI.
