Happy Valley picked up a district win over a county foe on Tuesday afternoon.
The Warriors jumped out and took an 11-1 win over Hampton on Warrior Hill.
After the Bulldogs scored the game’s first run in the top of the first, Happy Valley answered with five runs in the bottom of the first.
The Warriors added two more runs in the second and four more in the third to take control.
Aiden Hartsook had three RBI and two hits for HV. Grady Goulds had a hit and two RBI, while Mason Belt added a hit and an RBI. Ty Johnson also added an RBI.
Goulds struck out six batters and allowed just one earned run on three hits for HV.
Hampton saw Jayden Kuhn have a hit and an RBI, while Noah Nicols, Cash Royston, and Gabriel Lyons added a hit apiece. Chance Davenport scored a run.
