Potter Resigns As Cloudland Head Football Coach

The Cloudland football program is looking for new leadership.

Scott Potter has resigned his duties as head coach of the Highlander program. The school confirmed the news on Wednesday, and the search for Potter’s replacement is ongoing.

Potter led Cloudland after he took over the program midseason during the 2019 campaign after Glen White was reassigned.

Under Potter’s direction, Cloudland rebounded to claim the Region 1-A title and a playoff win against Harriman.

In the first full season as head coach, Potter led the ‘Landers to another Region 1-A title and a 7-5 mark. Cloudland saw their season come to a close heartbreakingly in the second round of the playoffs.

The ‘Landers were 12-7 under the direction of Potter.
