A late touchdown spoiled the party for the Rangers.

Tri-Cities Christian used a late touchdown to take a 17-14 lead over Unaka on Friday night on Stoney Creek.

The Eagles opened the game with a 27-yard field goal, but the Rangers answered with a 31-yard touchdown run from Micah Hunt. TCC jumped back in front with a 19-yard touchdown pass.

However, Hunt found Bobby Davenport for a 28-yard touchdown pass to regain the 14-10 lead for the Rangers.

The Eagles, however, scored with 3:39 remaining to take the victory.

Unaka falls to 1-7 on the season, and will host North Greene next Friday night.

Hampton 49, Hancock County 13

Another road trip, another win for the Bulldogs.

After dispatching Cosby in a road game last week, Hampton rolled to a 49, 13 to remain perfect in region play.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 40-0 lead at the half, and never looked back.

Hampton will host South Greene next Friday night.
