Rangers unable to keep pace with Harriman

The Rangers fought hard, but was unable to keep pace with the high-powered Harriman offense.

Unaka fell 48-8 to non conference foe Harriman on Friday night at Goddard Field.


The Blue Devils came out of the gate firing as they quickly jumped to a 21-0 lead in the opening minutes. Harriman continued to keep clicking on all cylinders as they extended the lead to 41-0 at the half.

Unaka broke onto the board in the fourth quarter as Blake King found Blake Isaacs for an 80-yard touchdown.

King finished the game 5-of-17 passing for 121 yards.

The Rangers return to Goddard Field next Friday night as J.I. Burton (Va.) comes to town for a non conference matchup.
