Its a pre-Christmas trip of sorts for Happy Valley’s Lady Warriors.
The squad is currently participating in the Rhea County Holiday Hoops tournament west of the area and have had their hands full with stiff competition.
Walker Valley to a 61-42 decision against the Lady Warriors Friday night but not without Kalee Johnson recording her second straight double figure scoring night with 19 points.
In the first game on the tourney on Thursday, Johnson dropped 17 points along with Emily Whitaker’s eight but it would not be enough to topple Hamilton Heights Christian Academy 60-37.
HV will wrap up tournament play Saturday.
