In a year full of great performances, one stood out above the rest.
Brayden Sams’ performance against Cloudland in Week 6 has been selected as the Best of Carter County Sports Performance of the Year.
The senior led the Warriors to a 43-0 victory in a battle of undefeated teams, and had a command of the entire game.
Sams had four touchdowns in the game while tallying 305 total offensive yards. The quarterback did damage to the Cloudland defense with his arm as he threw for 144 yards on 5-of-10 passing and tallied 11 carries on 161 yards.
While the numbers were impressive, anytime the Warriors needed a play – the senior leader rose to the occasion to take care of business.
