The schedule for the Region 1-3A Baseball tournament is set.
Elizabethton is set to host the two-day tournament at Northeast Community Credit Union ballpark on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10.
The tournament is a double-elimination format with the champion and runner-up advancing to the sectional round.
The full schedule is below.
In Friday’s semifinals, District 2-No. 1 Greeneville will open play against District 1-No. 2 Unicoi County at 4p. District 1-No. 1 Elizabethton will open the tournament at 6:30p as they take on District 2-No. 2 Grainger.
On Saturday, the two winners will meet in the championship game at 12p.
The two losers from Friday night will square off in an elimination game at 3p. The Championship game loser will take on the winner of the first elimination game at 6p with a sectional berth on the line.

Championship Game: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2, 12p
Game 4: Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2, 3p (loser eliminated)
Game 5: Winner of Game 4 vs. Championship game loser, 6p (winner advances to sectionals)
