The Lady ‘Landers pulled away for a district win in Johnson City Thursday evening.
CHS jumped out to a 6-0 lead and pushed the advantage to 11-2 in the top of the fifth.
Regan Blair and Reagan Turbyfill each had three hits and two RBI, while Ayla Horney recorded four RBI and two hits. Eowyn McCoury had two RBI and two hits at the plate. Layken Blair added two hits.
Jayla Harper, Abriella Jones, and Peyton Preswood each added a hit and an RBI for Cloudland. Savannah McCoury added a hit.
In the pitching circle, Turbyfill struck out nine batters.
Hampton 11, Johnson County 9
The Lady Bulldogs held on for a thrilling win on Thursday against Johnson County.
Maleah Scalf went 4-for-5 with three RBI, while Lillian Andrews tallied two hits and an RBI. Malory Lamb had two RBI and a hit.
Hadley Vines finished the game 2-for-2. Emma Birchfield, Briley Davis, and Dru Nickles each had a hit and an RBI.
Davis struck out nine batters in the pitching circle.
Elizabethton 13, Unaka 0
The Lady Cyclones were able to pull away with a seven-run third inning on Thursday.
Sadie Williams led Elizabethton as she went 3-for-3 with two RBI. Mikinna Blackwell had three RBI and two hits. Kaitlyn Gryder ended the game with two hits and two RBI, while Adrian Heading added two RBI for the Lady Cyclones.
In the pitching circle, Lacey Gobble struck out seven batters.

Cloudland 8
Cloudland and Unaka split a thrilling pair of games on Thursday.
In the first game, Unaka rallied from an 11-1 deficit to take a walk-off win after Cloudland had tied the game in the top of the seventh.
Bailey Cannon had a homerun as part of a 2-for-2 and four RBI performance, while Brandon Buckley and Robert Humphrey had two hits and an RBI apiece. Laken Barnett also added a hit and two RBIs.
Colin Davis went 4-for-4 with two RBI, while Brayden Whitaker added three hits and for RBI for Cloudland. Tristen Lowery tallied three hits.
Cam Peppers knocked in two runs for Cloudland.
In the second game, Unaka battled back from an early deficit, but the ‘Landers broke the stalemate with a run in the seventh to take the win.
Davis had two hits for Cloudland, while Walker Gouge and Lowery each had a hit and an RBI. Bryson Peppers had a hit and two RBI for the ‘Landers.
Rylan Crabtree went 2-for-3 with an RBI to pace the Rangers. Brandon Buckley added two hits, and Bailey Cannon finished with a hit and an RBI.
Science Hill 7, Elizabethton 0
The Cyclones came up short in nonconference play on Thursday.
Science Hill took a 1-0 lead after an inning of play and pushed the advantage to 6-0 with four runs in the fourth.
Evan Chambers recorded a hit for Elizabethton.
In 3.2 innings of work, Elijah Ambrose allowed just one unearned run on four hits.
Happy Valley 17, Tri-Cities Christian 5
The Warriors jumped out early and never looked back
After HV lead 4-1 after an inning of play, the Warriors plated nine runs in the second to take full control.
Grady Goulds went 2-for-2 with two RBI, and Lane Parker finished the game 2-for-3 with an RBI. Ty Johnson and Cade Kendall plated two runs with a hit apiece.
Drew Blevins and Artee Bahn each recorded a hit and an RBI.
Fermin Carrillo-Estrada struck out for batters and allowed just one earned run on four hits in 5.2 innings of work.
Hampton 8, FCA Flames 2
The Bulldogs took care of business on Thursday afternoon.
Cash Royston struck out 10 batters and allowed just two earned runs on five hits to set the tone on the mound for Hampton.
Jaden Kuhn had two hits and two RBI for the Bulldogs, while Landon Buchanan went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
Elisha Henson had two hits and an RBI. Gabriel Lyons recorded a hit and two RBI.
